for my hood straps i just drilled the rivets that hold the bottom of the stock pink glove compartment and bolted the straps there. just an idea if you dont wanna add any more holes. also, it works best if you cross your straps like lbe's. ive had it where i got in the water and the wet straps expanded and slipped off the side of the hood like a girls bra strap falling off her shoulder only not as sexy.
when i shorted my pole i just used some stainless button head bolts and resin.
it probably would have been easier to use rivets but i have a cheap little rivet gun and i didnt wanna use small weak rivets that would end up coming loose. i have plenty of pics that i will eventually post up when i get the time.
