I noticed a post today from a new member commenting on all the terms we use and how confusing they can be. It seems that we could put together a pretty good glossary here if someone could help keep the thread clean by consolidating all the terms into one post. What do we think?

The other way would be to do it on Wikipedia and post a prominent link here.

Seems like we could all do our part to make jet skiing a lot more accessible and understandable to people new to the sport.

Or maybe something like this already exists?

A derivation of gay meaning 'lame". Meant to be non-offensive to individuals of a homosexual persuasion.

On a side note, on the old Hot Boat (jet boats) forum this exact thing turned in to one of the funniest, most sarcastic threads EVER. We could do that too. . .

Brap = This word or phrase is as outplayed as the word Extreme.

Extractor = For the love of god and all you cherish, dont even worry about it or go there.
