full spectrums w/ spigot mounts?

so this guy has these full spec 48s with a spigot mount..the price is right but i talked to the guys at full spectrum and they said that i would need a rubber adaptor to run these on a sj.....im assuming the carbs would be flopping around too much for surf use...does anyone use these like this?...it may not be worth it...

I would trust Ed's opinion on the matter but I've heard spigots are bad new with Yamaha motors.

mabye i should pass...ive broken an intake manifold before so there is definityl alot of stress in that area

I ran a set of red top spigot mounts for a while What a Pain the arse.

I wouldn,t run them on a any stand up
