Full Spectrum carb question

I have 2 Mikuni 46mm full spectrums that I need to put kit;s in, regular genuine Mikuni kits will work correct? Didn't know if there was anything different in them as far as the carb kit goes.

Rebuilding your carbs won’t stop your running away problem unless you have a major leak at the throttle plates or shafts (none of which come in kit)
Like Big K said you have a air leak somewhere on your motor you’ll have to pinpoint.

You guys were 100% right, smoked it and it’s leaking at one of the butterfly shaft seals

I believe you’d be better off sending them to Ed but you might wait for a long time to see them again because he’s swamped
Not sure if the 46 full specs can be repaired with a standard shaft/bushing kit

If your going to do it right, send carb set to Ed and he will fit new valves and shafts into carbs
he hand makes all parts specific to his carbs. While Art will certainly come close.
full Specs are high quality precision carbs. Why take a chance on loosing some performance?
I highly recommend sending to Full Spec

I had some older full spec 46s that had worn throttle valves. Ed told me they were too old for him to work on and I needed new carburetors. I ordered mikuni throttle valve kits from jetmaniac and put them in. Working perfectly for several years now. Just be sure to peen the screws.
