Full spectrum carb problem

set of full spectrum carbs, they have an expansion plug that seals the fuel pump section from the inner bore and one of mine is leaking causing fuel to drain in to that carb, anybody ever seen this before and any suggestions on a fix? Thanks

They have a few different names... Welch plugs, core plugs, freeze plugs and frost plugs. Back in the day we sealed them with fingernail polish but a clean thin layer of clear epoxy should do a better job
