Slutty and Pete are the only ones I know run more than a full face, but I have seen many injuries where something comes through the front.

Lacrosse/Whitewater would have prevented this. He was wearing a bike helmet when it happened.

the cascade white water helmet I was checking out is lighter than my BMX full face. the main problem with the white water helmet is the cage is rubberized steel. It'll rust eventually.

I wear a lacrosse helmet and I love it. I didn't end up looking like Wavedemon, but I've eaten the bars a couple of times through my full face. I also find the full face cuts down my peripheral vision which I don't like when I'm inverted. The lacrosse helmet has great face protection, and a very robust chin piece to keep the guillotine blade from your throat (others refer to these as "carbon chin pads"). It's also very light even when wet, and drains quickly without sluicing your face. This is a particular problem with some full face helmets (the Fly among them) - you get a second or two of water running down over your eyes as it drains, and the couple of seconds after you resurface are a really good time to be able to see.... I've eaten some serious handlepole with the lacrosse helmet and not had even the slightest bump. I'm definitely a convert. I'll have it at Daytona if anyone with the same sized head wants to try it.

Full-face MX helmet. I ride in cold weather/water, I need the insulation it gives. It is little heavier, but excellent protection. Looks cool as well. The visor works good for the spray as well.

Bellistic for me.

I do have a Pro-Rider - and although i like it better for style and weight, it's not nearly as comfy as the Bell.
