Fuel TV+Jet Ski Free Ride. Why Not?

If you guy's don't know about Fuel TV its pretty much THE channel for Action Sport's. it cover's everything... skateboarding, snowboarding, wakeboarding, BMX, FMX, Surfing, yadda yadda yadda.

They also have a feature called First Hand which is a behind the sceen's look of each athletes talent and involvement in their sport and a look into the rider's everday life. also BIG exposure to the world.

News, event's, in's and out's of everything. My tv is only on fuel! If you guy's dont have this channel you are seriously missing out and need to get it today!

So i was watching it yesterday and thought, why is'nt free-riding on here? i know the idea of being on X games has been kicked around but would'nt it be easier to get exposed on a TV channel first? then which would probobly be lead into X Games alot easier.....

we have the events....just have to get there cameras out there....

just a thought, what do you guys think? how can Free-Riding get involved?

well reading that post it sounds like there was an attempt........but im talking about free ride not flat water....i mean come on pierre just did a double flip, that not worth TV time!?

if the sport got exposed there would be more people doing it, new sponsors, more attendees at free rides......

mark the same could be said for any sport. but waves, i would rather just watch the surf than the tv anyday! now add some stylish surfriding, some massive airs, some awesome paint jobs, some carnage, some party.
thats entertainment!

well thats why its FUEL TV, you only watch it if your involved with action
sports......think about surfing on tv, wow a slash.....down the face, back up the face....slash and repeat..... but if you surf your like WOW sick wave! nice slash! did you see that barrel!?

if you do something its fun to watch.......

I think MTV took over the series of Nitro Circus but I am not positive. Also on the homepage of fuel it says there is a second season of the Great ride open. Hopefully this will get the attention of fuel and they will look into it.

nice job guys. I love fuel tv - and watch it all the time. they go beyond just the sport and get into the lifestyle that goes with it. A freeride could easily be made to fit the show "first hand"... it just needs to be covered the right way.

I've always had a vision of a documentary style video about riding... that's the approach that would be needed.

My tv is always on Fuel, except when the wife has the remote. They have a couple segments (forget the name) where they preview up and comming riders in skate, BMX, and snow.
They also play alot of the same segments over and over.
A half hour slot with some well editied surf footage would be cool.
There are some things I'm not really into on there, but I find myself watching because it is well edited and usually the cream of the crom in the not so big sports.

If they played that Fullgaz 2007 Euro vid, I think they would have intrest. They just need to add that to the rotation.
