Fuel reserve

Is there anywhere I could buy a OEM fuel reserve knob/setup for a 94 750sx? I've still got the stock fuel pickup but I don't have the cable and knob assembly. I'd like to put it back on but I'm not sure where I could find one.

maybe you could find someone parting a 750 out that would sell one cheap. or you could go through your dealer. but let me warn you it probably wont be cheap. i was quoted $700 for a dang oem handbar cover when i owned an sxi pro. seems oem yamaha is so much cheaper.

Yeah, I was thinking since it basicly used a brake cable from a bike I could rig one somehow. I'd just rather not have to pull the hood when I run out of gas. My lake isn't very big, but I'd rather not have to swim across to land.
