40:1 is probably good on the mix (I don't have that ski but 40:1 will be OK for almost all two stroke engines)

Save your money and run the cheapest fuel that your compression will allow. If you're not running a high compression engine than 87 will be fine. Try to avoid ethanol fuel though.

I was wondering about my mixture also. I was told 50 to 1. It just seems 12 ounce in 4 gallon is not a lot.

40:1 will be fine on the Kawi. Running higher octane makes a difference in performance, especially in that engine. Run full synthetic oil too.
