Super Jet Fuel filter

I start to see air bubbles in the fuel line after the OEM fuel/water separator (filter) and this bubble issue start to appear after I changed the carbs from duel 38's to duel SBN 44's. I used to race and the ski bogs during the WOT.

Am thinking about get rid of these filters and replace them with one of the inline fuel filters. And for a fuel quality concern am also planning to add fuel pick up filters.

Which inline filters can I use? And is there anything I have to consider when installing these filters.

You are sucking air into the lines. Cut back the fuel lines and be sure to use a good zip tie and get it sealed. Also if the separator has the drain on the bottom check it's oring to make sure it not leaking or cracked.

Both separators are brand new ONE without drain on the bottom and all zig ties are perfectly tight.

P1030137.JPG You could probably source a similar filter in Saudi Arabia. Also, don't use cheap (sometimes in color) fuel lines, they tend to harden over time and then not seal well where they connect. By the way. the filter does not fill all the way necessarily. There might be some airspace on top if positioned horizontally. Works for me.

The only filter I have is this

on each line going to carbs. And I was wondering about the air bubbles thing that I observed that's why I thought to replace these filters with internal element. And sometimes I can see that the fuel level inside the filter is below the level where it should be.

If you have good fuel pressure then they should be almost full. bypass them and run the ski and see how it runs, but do not ride for long like this. just for a test.
