just realized while filling up my 750 Pro, the gas fuel door on the inside says Premix- 60:1. i currently run 40:1 (91 octane gas and redline synthetic premix oil), am i mixing too much oil in my gas?

My buddy has over 500 hours on his SXR at 60:1 on cheap oil. I think it's fine, especially for a stock motor

I have two friends with SXR's both have to be in the 500 hour range and they run 60:1 with amsoil. They are both piped with ignition, really can't beleive they have held up this long. I have run 50:1 amsoil/klotz since I built my motor 3 years ago with no issues, prob 300hrs. Just took my crank to be freshend up and my builder inspected and it tested perfect, so I'm running it again. Also have a friend who ran his RN on quicksilver this summer at 50:1, crank seized about a month ago. I took a look at it, literally looked like he was running no oil, scary!

I've been running my Jetworks motor at 50:1 on Amsoil Dominator for three years.

Ive been running quicksilver synthetic from walmart at 50:1 for the last few weeks, smokes less and seems fine so far. time will tell

I was running it in my X-2 for about a month till I saw the inside of that 701, its sitting on the shelf now with R-50 in the tank! Randy at Watcon told me if your going to run cheap oil every time you fill up put $5 in a jar! I beleive it now!

The Kawis recommend the 60:1 to meet EPA regulations. I ran mine there while it was stock. Now that I have more goodies, I run at 44:1. I have over 200 hours on my crank at no issues at all.
