I keep reading about these jaz tanks - but the websites say they are 25lbs!?! What is the actual weight of these tanks?

I know you guys aren't fond of putting anchors in your skis...

2 lbs empty with no lid or fittings, so likely less than 3 total...............I'll post it once I get it finished..................

Nice tank though, with flat bottom to sit nice in the hull. Much cleaner looking than the kart ones...................

ya, im running a 2.5gal kart in my fx1. It sucks cuz no matter how u strap it in it shifts and tips. I'm making either a small box for it to sit in this winter or making a small fuel cell that fits the fx hull.

ah okay, 3lbs I can deal with - now if I can only bring myself to pay $300 for a 2 gallon gas tank I'll get one too.

Not sure who quoted you $300 but that's way off the mark. I just picked up a new 2 gallon Jaz fuel cell for under $200 shipped. Contact Brian at Thrust Innovations if interested as he is great to deal with and will take care of you.

I haven't installed mine yet because I am still trying to determine the best way to mount it. I want to be able to have a removable mount for this tank so that I can switch back to the stock tank for those long rides on the Lake Erir and St. Clair and use the fuel cell when tooling around on the little inland lakes. As of right now all I have is the duct tape and bubble gum idea, so of anyone has any other ideas and/or suggestions on how to mount this as clean as possible please let me know.

I have around 125 in mine.....................45 for the cell, 64 for the lid, and 20 in fittings.............

They come as a blank and you must assemble.........the assembled pro stocks are very expensive, but when you buy the parts, its much less because you dont need 150 bucks worth of AL AN style fittings and vents................
