Cant find a matching set of 72.5 or 70 pilot jets for the life of me for this weekend. Ive got some on order, but I want them now!!!!

i hear ya, i half to drive 15mins-20 w/ traffic drop $7 in gas to go pickup a $2 jet. I ended up just getting all sizes from 100-130 in pilot and mains and cut my losses with the unused ones. Maybe something to look into since their arnt any in your area at all. Contact Starvin48 a Hotproducts dealer here he can hook you up with a kit for cheap.

Yea, Ive been planning on getting a full kit for a while since I'm always tinkering with other peoples skis... I just have been slacking and now that I have my ski back together I planned a big outting on the saint johns and I want JETS BY SATURDAY!!!

The one place near me has a single 70 pilot jet, but i need 2 damnit.

This kinda stuff pisses me off ,they could drop it in an envelope and drop them at the post office for .75 cents .Put them out in your mailbox at home if you don't want to spend the gas .It's $1.50 with delivery confirmaton and $3.00 with signature confirmation .

Kinda lame if you ask me .

Meh its fine. The way i see it, I could pay 4 bucks a pop local (could = cant they dont have them), I could pay a buck per through my guy here and wait 2 weeks until everyone is back and settled from havasu, or I could pay riva $6 shipping and have them here in the AM to enjoyably ride my ski all weekend. Thats worth $11.67 if you ask me.

Well the 70s got here on time. Installed them and bam the ski ran frakin great... comparitively.


Im running my own ported cylinders, dual 38s, ocean pro f/a's, FPP blaster mod pipe, boysen reeds. I filled the manifold crossover when i ported, but damn im at 135 mains and 70 pilots with low speed needles at 1/4 turn, and its still running rich. I think its the low since its loading up a bit, clears out up top real nice. The plugs arnt even ashy, they pull still damp.

Still breaking in the motor so no WOT or constant throttle runs to test the high speed yet. Ive never heard of someone running as low as 65/67.5 pilots.....
