Well, I finally got my wife to run the camera for a little bit today. I just installed my -3.25 Xmetal turnplate and bushings, so now I'm at -10.5" from stock. I haven't had any footage of myself all year. I learned more in the 10 minutes I spent studying these clips than I did all year!
Roll # 1
YouTube - barrel roll # 1
Roll # 4
YouTube - barrel roll # 4
Roll # 5
YouTube - barrel roll # 5
And, the backflip attempt (forgive the extreme close-up)
YouTube - backflip (almost there)
Here's what I learned:
- Even though the rolls are all the way around, I'm barely moving! I'm going like what, 7 mph?!?! I've got to put some boogie into those things!
- Right before that backflip, I tried one where I stayed up on the bars (instead of hanging way off the back). What a HUGE difference! I really think that if I put a little more time into it, and actually planned on getting around (spotting my landing), I might be able to nose one in. That's all my goal is - to nose them in. I don't care if I sink down to my shoulders, but ride out of it.
