that area around the hot hole is so shallow you will NEVER get surf there.

I was talking about Ipperwash....I'm not sure if you were implying that or telling me what the hot hole is like. :dunce:

Drive up to Monroe Friday night, crash somewhere and get sauced, wake up and split the gas money with someone to trailer up to Ipperwash for the day.

Less driving, fuel savings, and someone to talk to on the road.

Don't know who you'll go with but I guarantee someone from MI area can help you with a ride.

That will work...I might just drive myself... but driving with someone else would be fun.... I looked at a map and its not as far as I thought... it will be a long drive home but I want to try to make it to as many rides as possible this year. I will be there...

Yeh the Video was short ...and the waves even shorter.....i some how got my 4 sec. of fame in it as well ..:Banane36:!!....ah well it was a SICK turn out..with so many Skis.....hopefully this year we'll have more Vid's...

Just want to throw something out there....Anyone interested in having one at the start of the season as well? ...maybe mid-June in ipperwash? that way we start and end the season with :bananalama:

I didnt read this whole thread when i replied. I assumed you guys were talking about wanting waves near the hot hole. I was just stating the obvious fact that there is no way the site will ever see surf.

How shallow is it? I swear I have seen guys hit the bottom in some of the freestylefest videos, but could never tell for sure....

the hole it self isnt bad. but out on the lake, it's like waist deep for proabaly close to half a mile off shore.
