......., the skis change, the competitors change, ..................... Toys change, mindset changes, people change................... Friends change, rules change, ................. but in the end, it's always easy to spot the freestyler.

Out with the old toys, in with the new.

My first thought was to barrel roll a ski in my pond in such a way as to 'appear' to be rolling over the vette. That would be trick.

Wow, you're a smart man! What year? And I'm glad to see you're respectful enough to take your shoes off :wavey:

Remember, too much :burnout: will make your wallet thin very quickly!

Smart? Nah, if I were smart I'd be engineering those big bottle rockets at Cape Canaveral.
Obviously the red head is a C5 (1997 - 2004) guess which. She's VERY quick (345hp) and beautiful . And I wouldn't dream of putting my shoes in her leather seats. Don't worry about thin wallet, retirement has a way of thinning the wallet. But then again so do the CRF's and the Yamaha's (oops Yamaha - down to one).

There are some deals out there for the patient. Mine needed nothing and was affordable enough that I could pay cash. Wish I had bought one years ago.
Funny I ALMOST bought a new leftover '04 C5 in May 2005 - 2 weeks later I got the call from our company president saying the company was going under . Forced early retirement, eh?

Smart. When you're ready also check out the C6's. They have optional electric convt. top. And 400 hp!

POWER top on a vett...... blastphemy says i. im still stuck on flip up headlights though. i considered a c4 at one point but for a little more than a nice c4 you can get into a c5. for whatever reason c4 owners seem to think their cars are made of gold

Not sure why...C4's are by far the UGLIEST corvette ever made! If you really want to humiliate yourself in such a way, come to GA... They sit in used car lots for months and months for $6k-$8k. The only thing worse than seeing a C4 is seeing a C4 with an owner that thinks he's a god because he's driving a corvette.

we had a guy come in with his c4 penis extension asking for an oil change, i asked what kind of oil he wanted to go with and he replied with an expression of shock on his face, "its an LT1 corvette, you can only put in full synthetic oil" it was all i could do to hold back my laughter, my grandmothers buick has an LT1 along with many a pickup truck.

Lol. Funny stuff. I test drove a C4 last year that was a beater. Very poorly cared for, top leaked, carpet stained, elec. issues, etc. But a great motor! Asking price was close to what I paid for this C5. I decided to wait and save my money, it paid off.
But like jfw says here in N Fl and S Ga C4's can be had cheaply lately.

Well, I believe those wheels came out around '99 or 2K and lasted the rest of the run..........so my guess is 2003???

I have an '88 C4, I don't feel any cooler when I'm driving it, and I'm not afraid to admit that I think it is a sexy car. I guess it's a good thing they made other version to satisfy all the C4 haters :tapedshut:
