Both those skis are in AUS. The rocked blue was built by the owner of Fridays Jet skis in Western Aus and the orange one was built by Jay333 who is Aus leading innovator in new blaster designs. Jay builds these skis to suit himself and his riding style. A normal riding session for Jay would see this ski back flipped up to 40 times and countless barrel rolls. This ski is full of innovation including a totally redesigned hood that has a re-routed air duct system, flat deck, adjustable foot holds and built strong to handle the punishment.

Way different than an x2, I always describe an x2 as a MX bike and a blaster as a motogp bike they handle so much better than x2s. But I love how flickable x2s are.

Also blasters are harder to get on IMO unless your a lighter individual.

The hood on Jays Orange ski is a One off, no manufaturing available. He has a new hood coming soon.

The nose on the blue ski is a rocker nose based off the orange ski from From fridays in Perth Australia. It is a very aggressive nose. really turns hardcore. very steep and lot of spray, however, in the surf, not really an issues. jay designed that nose orginally, a guy called ziptie brian tuned it up and made the mould, which Fridays purchased and now sells kits.

Jay is working on a new nose with splash guard.

I have been working with Carter B on my new ski. it's a combo of what i wanted and what he knows. He definatley had some interesting thoughts on certain parts of the nose and rear. so here is our latest. Not as aggresive, more chines for turning and a completely new rear end design to soften the landings from high up.. It is getting painted this week so will post up some more shots soon.

Damn you guys are realy putting these b1s under the knife! Has anyone just foam filled the nose cavitys blending them with the rest of hull and glass them up? Not a big fan of the crazy steep rocker. I will post my build in a couple weeks, im taking a bit different approach ;)

How much is jays ski chopped 701dave

Hey man chopped the ass end to ride plate bolts and lowered deck to pump added rick roy ninja lifters and sickness rides sweet .IMO the ass end is where its at for flipping and whipping tooshort no good but can be fixed with longer ride plate .working on a hood shouldn't be to long now and my new ski does have a built in splash guard might have to taje a mould .

Here's my home made rockered b1. It's taken me two years of dragging butt to get it done. I cut the nose and used foam then glassed over the foam. I also shorted the back by 3.5inches, I should have it water ready this weekend. Blaster 2.JPG
