Phil, Brian and i were talking about Bourdman Oregon sometime in July. The weather is nice and they have a great RV park right on the river.

Boardman is a nice place but you will not have the same wind swells that you get in Hood River or The Dalles. I'll do a little research on the Columbia River Gorge and see if I can't find out some more info about the different places to launch.

I have ridden both places several times; I think Boardman has larger swells at times.
I almost sank a brand new Sea-Doo that hadn’t even been home yet from repeated tail landings. Boardman is a great spot to camp and you don’t have to deal with the wind surfer population. The draw back for me is the distance from home..

As far as the Hood River area, I launch at Mosier… It’s about halfway between The Dalles and Hood River. Nice launch with docks, camping etc. Not a big wind surf spot either.
