I have seen a lot of peopel run ther B pipes hot, too get better low end. Does that trick worke on a type 4 dry pipe ?

The type 4 runs hotter than a B pipe would because it is DRY, it feels cool on the outside because there is a water jacket but inside it is dry (dry = hot). So yes it does work, that is why it is designed that way.
