300/440/550 For all you 550 fans..........

Flash-FX

No Square..No Round..FX-1
The original concept is probably a good one....

I remembering hearing of vibration/breakage issues. Nothing is perfect. Too bad we can't use something like this on the boats we run today.(improved version) Imagine a 30+hp low end boost? Look out TNT chamber.

Looks like maybe Factory Pipe made them for Dycorp?

In 20 years they will be laughing about the stuff we are doing today...:haha:

Just found this today. I had a chance to get one of those dual pipes a few years back for $175. I am kicking myself for not getting them. Even if they dont make power like everyone is sayind they still look the best haha.

No not yet I have collected a lot of information on it and talked to the guy that set them up back in the day. He gave me the specs. to set it up. These pipes are know for freezing motors if not set up right. I will let you know once I run the pipe.

thats what I was thinking. Everyone keeps saying these pipes stink but I was thinking people are just trying to bolt them on and ride. Dual pipes can be a pain in the butt to tune and you have to have your whole engine package setup to match the dual pipes. Good luck I hope it works out for you.

jetski9010 I thought you would like to read this:

I was sponsored by a company that was marketing/selling them called Dycorp, I used them on my race 550's and blew them up a lot until I figured out how to make them live. It took 112 octane w/200 lbs of cranking compression, set the timing to 18 degrees, and the biggest trick to keep it from seizing with the dual cooling lines, was to set it up with .010 thou of piston clearance!! I had a rider that won all but one race in a 16 race season after I found out how to keep the 550 from seizing the piston a couple laps into the race...If your going to run this pipe on pump gas YOU MUST USE STOCK COMPRESSION HEAD and run .008 piston to wall clearance. This pipe by far was the most HP I ever made over any single pipe I tried to run, but not fun to install, like a puzzle, this before this and you needed to do that before this....so I do have to say It was the pipe that made me a little crazy, but won races like no other!

I am up in the sac area a lot going up tomorrow my sisters lives up there we should go riding sometime.

sounds like a sweet setup for a 550 motor. Right now I got about 4 skis in my garage that are at 85% done or so. Where do you ride at when you come to sac? You gotta check out the all out 550 freestyle/low end power build we are finishing up right now.
