footstraps on a blaster

i;m gettin ready it glass in the inserts i bought mcmasters on my blasterproject. i was wondering where everyone placed theres. I kinda sux that once they are down i can't move them....i think i know where i want them i just looking for soem opinions

i bought the stainless nut with washer weilded to it...... i got it from mcmasters

i used self tapping stainless bolts

I drilled holes through the gunwhale and carved out the strofoam underneath so I could just use big washers and nuts on the inside of the hull. It's strong as hell but it was a little work getting the styrofoam out of the way because I didn't want to take any more than I had to.

D Slicker- I think I just painted mine the same color as your old one LOL

don't put the foot holds so far back that it goes over the middle of your foot. you need to get out of the hold so put them toward your toes and keep the straps kinda loose.

The black/yellow blaster straps would have been to far back for where I put my feel but the blue one looked about right.

hey dirty do you have any more pics of that black blaster. I'm painting mine black with silver metalick stars. I'm gel coating it.....it's a pain.

Looks great. I did mine in 99 yamaha R6 blue.
