Footrocket question?

How do I get ski to breath better? I'm wanting to install a TPE964 They said footrockets do not breath well. I have the rrp pole. But they said I need more. Whats my next step?

Although it doesn't have optimal air intake for flatwater freestyle, I've had a 1200 and a 1000 in mine and it still runs good and has lots of power.

you should be fine as long as its your running RRP pole

Ive seen a few guys that were running Xmetal pole n werent getting enough air so switched to RRP

otherwise youll have to start hacking up the fiberglass to make breather holes or install frog skins

I did a test on my Footrocket today at the suggestion of another member. I rode it as per normal for a while until it was good and warmed up, then I took the hood off and rode with no hood on, thus having zero air restriction and it didn't make the tiniest difference in power on my 10mm 1017cc motor. I'm thinking if it were a race boat you should be worried, but for flatwater freestyle where you're just blipping the throttle mainly I don't believe it to be an issue.

I initially ran my Foot Rocket with an X-metal pole to feed my 950 (built by Erik). I had an improvement in performance when I switched to an RRP pole, but I also went from 46 to 48 Novis at the same time...
There was a long thread on engine air supply. General consesus was you should be fine. Maybe racers need the extra air, but for free ride/free style blipping, it's adequate.
Put that engine in there and go!
