Footholes on a barrel roll

Hey this is just a simple question
im starting to practice my barrel rolls
on flat what and waves Do i need foot holes
to pull one off

you dont need them if you are a badass. but yes you will fall out of the tray once upside down. if you dont want to put footholds in , use the hydro turf lifter wedges. they are self adhesive.

I would say yes....you want straps or holds. I prefer foot holds. I know quite a few of the surf guys just use straps though.

you can buy straps and hardware for under 30 or 40 bucks, foot holds will run anywhere from 70 to 100+ and then you will need epoxy resin, fiberglass and most likely new turf
