Ok I am sure this question comes up alot but I am putting footholds in my square nose and want a nice drop in easy to install foot hold. I just don't want to have to mod the hold to not break my ankles. But I also want the right combination of not too much and just enough of a hook to really plant your feet. Does anyone have any suggestions. I am around size 11-13 shoe it depends on the brand. I was looking at Blowsions Dawson Diggers and I think that is what I want. Any suggestions?

dont get the diggers... you will slip out nose stabs and rolls easy. If you do get the digger do not get the 60$ inserts cuase they do almost nothing.

But if i had to do it again I would go with the 24/7's. Trust me Staying straped to the ski is alot better than looking for it in the air.

next set i get will be trinity holds... they look awesome. seems like tons of space without the boot fit of revs/klowners

i dont feel the need to be locked in the hold at my calf. just my foot is fine with me

I took 24/7's out of my old hull and put in Watercraft Factory.

My current favorites are Watercraft Factory and Trinity's, and both are easy to install. REV's are not as easy from what I hear.

Both are good, the Trinity holds have more room for padding, and have a semi enclosure built in. For my big size 12 foot I prefer the larger Trinity hold... but some may prefer the WCF. JMO

ive done 2 sets of revs and had to mod the exhaust side to clear the outlet pipe
not hard to do just letting ya know
i also have 24-7 and just dont like them
my but has wammiltons and i like them the best that ive riden in
revs are huge!

The preceding has been a non paid promotional advertisement for WCF via SFL for NPR in MHO and BTW FTW!

 not really. i have them in both of my SJs and plan on putting them in the next build that i do. i didnt do all of the work of removing the 24/7s in my RN to install the WCF holds because i wanted to be a pal. theyre the most comfortable, easy-to-install, unobtrusive holds ive ever used.

....not that youd know anything about footholds:clown:

I have 24/7 in both my skis and have been running these kind since 2000 and would like to maybe try something different like the WCF or the Trinity, or maybe X-metal.

Could someone post up some pics of the WCF, Trinity, or Xmetal footholds installed? or not installed for that matter...
Lets get some pics of the different holds on this thread maybe.
Here is the 24/7 Milleniums installed in a RN.
