I would just wait until you can get what you want, Why waste the money on fiberglass, resin, hardners and foam. Its not like a bolt on item where you can just swap it out quick. I have the watercraft Factory foot holds and they work great for me.

Don't cheap out and settle for something for now. Save up to get what you want. It's a pain to re-turf everything so do it right the first time.

Watercraft Factory holds have been great for me. I wouldn't want to change to anything else.

by your picture it looks like your riding a 650 sx. If that is correct I'm doing a foothold install as we speak the prob that I'm having is the gunwales are not flat they have a damn curve to them. So my tom21's footholds aren't going in as easy as a sj or sxr. Just something to think about. But definetly get some holds. I tryed straps first and they work ok but they get in the way. Best of luck.

dont cheap out on footholds. get yourself a nice set with a mat kit from wamiltons (i have rickters and love them). ittl make your life easier and youll love them. youd def dont wanna install 2 sets because you hated the first set you put in.

right i see what you are saying and it is for a 94 superjet and the only reason i am doing it now is because i broke through my tray and i am afraid i may have to defoam it and redo that to. I am just very budgeted and did not want to wait all freaking winter again. I think i am going to go with either wamiltons or the watercraft factory i am just going to put away a build fund lol.

Thank you for all your help and when i finally begin this project i will keep an update on it.

Thanks,
Shane

waterdawg has been known to have sales
also watch the for sale section and ebay
i got my 24/7's for 75 bux brand new

The REVS usually go on sale around christmas for 50 bucks. They're probabyl my favorite hold out of what I've ridden. Real comfy around the ankles. Tom 21's are sick too for sure.

I have the older style 24/7 and I love them. Very similar to the ones in that ebay add. They are enough of a foothold that you don't have to worry about your feet coming out as much as with some that are more like a toe hold, but don't have the depth all around like the REVS that feel almost like bindings.

I'd go with the REVS. If you have the fiberglass know how to cut out your tray and refoam and everything you'll be able to handle the install.
