Hello.

I am curious to find out what foothold position most people are using on a Bob gen2 or 3.
I just moved mine all the way back to test out this weekend.
What effects does this have on riding?
I usually cruise in surf stand and when i'm reaching a boat or going to some waves i put both feet in the rear holds. Im just wondering what the different positions do

forward position will ride and jump flatter. generally accepted as better for 360's and other trick u want to stay flatter for. moving them back moves your weight back picks the nose up and i feel makes it a little less stable to ride.

mind u i'm on a bob gen 1 with footholds all the way back and i have to move up to the front foot hold if i want to level it out some.

Thanks for the reply.. that makes sense, I might try it all the way forward to see if I like it..
I noticed with the footholds all the way back it is more unstable but i got a lot more air than usual. but half the time I land on my back off yacht waves if I pump the it wrong haha.. I have a porpoising problem while riding in the back footholds.. Like you, lately i've been putting both feet in the front holds at times, but I think it won't be nice to have to switch position and kick my feet in the holds each time I'm about to jump...
It might be my rideplate, I got a short and a long ride plate with my ski, but the long plate is nothing like the ones on the ski clinic site.. it's more of a medium ride plate.
