Super Jet Foothold glassing question

Finished up laying glass and sanding as you can see. Just wondering if I should add some epoxy to the area I'm pointing to since there are small small holes I don't want water to enter

Is there only one layer of glass? I used a couple layers of glass when I did mine and they've held up solid. I'd put another wider layer of glass over that.

Yes 1 on the sides 3 on the bottom going across tray..

X2 I would do at least 2 layers. make sure the second layer is wider and overlaps.
