Foot straps

I’m going to be fitting a set of foot straps to my sj so I would like some tips and advice on what inserts I need

I thought about making small aluminum pucks that are threaded in the middle so you can take the turf off in one small circle and epoxy the puck down and bolt the strap to that. Not sure how people usually do it but that was gonna be my solution.

I have done exactly this,^

I brought some stainless washers with about a 1.5 inch OD, Tig welded on 2 stainless M6 nuts. Scuffed the washer up with a grinder and stuck them down.

Blowsion sell a kit also but you need to drill holes in tray.
