FOLLY BEACH Free ride Sept 6th Charleston SC

Labor day weekend we're going to do a free ride at Folly. The Folly Beach Freeride event.

We will kick things off at the Folly Beach public boat landing at 11am and head towards the West end of Folly beach by the light house to hit the surf. The riding area takes a few mins to get there via the water way. We will have a boat or two out there to put fuel and a cooler or two on to get over to the ride location. This event is FREE of charge and just something we are going to try and see how it goes.

This event is open to all stand up, X2, blaster, and spark model jet skis. If you rock a huge couch please for our safety ride else where that day.

This is the first year we have done an actually event per say other than the polar bear ride in Jan and some local rides here and there. Hoping to make this an annual event so we will see how things go this year. Hope to see a bunch of you guys there.

Is this right? 2.5miles? Offer a refueling service half way?

Actually the map is show you to the opposite end of the island from where we will being. Its about the same distance wise. We do a few different things. One a SJ or XR can make it no prob and ride for a good 45mins before needing to return to the landing for fuel if you needed to. When we do these kinds of rides out there we have several guys with boats that come along to put fuel on and what not. Now if you have a beach cart you can unload right over there by the beach no problem. You just have to push your skis over the dunes and then your there. This is pretty much how we have to do it for the first year or so to then be able to show the city how an event like this can benefit them. Hope everyone looks past the extra little bit we have to go thru and comes down to our awesome town for some awesome riding.

You betcha. Is there camping involved. Where are the people staying the come in from out of town?

Not legally LOL......Most guys we know either crash with friends get a cheap hotel. Just ask Seth about Folly he rides down here often.
