Surfriding Foamy carb adapters???

Current setup: HPE 819, Boyesen intake with 46mm SBNs and 1 1/2" Hot Products cone style flame arrestors (they fit inside the Phantom hood). In order to get the motor to run better, I've had to increase pop-off to 38psi (1.8 N&S, 95 gram spring). Oh... and 105 low and 120 high jets. Ski rips half throttle to WOT and does fairly decent down low when you constantly Brap it, but doesn't have that arm wrenching low end off of idle. So, I'll prolly continue to increase pop-off and see what shakes.

In the mean time, anybody have some input on this foam situation? It's predominantly at the top of the carb around the adapters. Also, I run pre-filters.

What does it smell like? (seriously)o_O

What I'm getting at is to see if it has a petroleum aroma (like fuel), a salty aroma (sea water) or something possibly glue-like. Does this appear immediately after a ride or after sitting for a period?

Honestly, I've never seen anything vaguely like that before!

Edmond ok
just water and premix mixing. Put a gasket between the adapter and carb to stop it in that spot(that shows you you are leaking a bit through there) and take off the outers on the filters. That should help. Either way you will probably ended up some... no biggie everyone does.
