when i go to refoam my ski how much foam will i need???

At least 3 cu. ft., so depending on the density, make sure you'll have enough, plus cooler temperatures will affect the expansion.
If you buy a 16lb kit of 4lb/cu.ft. foam, that should yield 4 cu.ft. 16lbs of 2lb/cu.ft. yields around 8cu.ft.

I bought the gallon kit of 4 pound and had perhaps a quart left over for doing sponsons and such, and a tip for all......... when done with the hardener (amber), displace the air in the can with some CO2 if you can for long term storage. It will eventually react with the air and harden in the can.
