you guys know if i can run a TL flywheel without the brain and complete setup? or can i use the mags off a stock flywheel on a TL flywheel and retain the battery charge? Kind of a crazy q, but got TL setup and just got to thinking about other options.

I actually looked into this a few weeks ago. Apparently the only stock ignitions that can handle a TL setup was '04+ SXR's. Everything else requires the stator and magnets or an aftermarket ignition system. See my thread below...
