Blaster Flywheel question

Have a 93 blaster with the 61x and I need to change the bendix but can't get the flywheel off. Bolt is already off. Any tips would help. I looked at getting the new lock on here but I was needing something done by tomorrow.

didnt wanna make another thread for another flywheel question but...

(new question) should a 62t stator fit a 61x flywheel? The new stator i have will not fit inside my flywheel. Is there something i can change to make them fit together?

You need use flywheel puller and pull it off using three bolts attached to the hub.

The universal jet ski flywheel pullers work the best but you may be able to find one at the auto parts store that might work well.

advance auto parts has a loaner tool that works great (i work at one). get it tight and tap the head of the middle bolt a few times and repeat. or an impact on the puller will take it right off in 5 seconds.

The loaner tool an auto flywheel puller or something else? I was told also to look at a steering wheel puller and that might work

I have a harmonic balancer puller I got from Vato-zone for like $12. Works like a champ.

used the harmonic balancer. it worked fantastic and even had the 8mm bolts in the set. it was about 14 bucks. however i did find out not to use the cone shaped adapter on the middle bolt. all it does is push on the flywheel and doesnt allow the flywheel to come off.
