Florida skis have title?

Are ski's titled in Florida? I may be getting one from down there. I have been f)))))d before buying a ski when I didnt get right paperwork.

I assume there should be a title. Dude selling says all you need is a bill of sale. (just want to verify with someone from there)

I'd call your local county clerk, DMV, whatever, and ask them what paper work they expect you to have to get a boat from Florida registered. Sounds like you'll need the title. Some states want it notarized and signed in a certain place. I always check with my county clerk before buying any vehicle from a private party.

One of those evilbay deals probably pass on that one. Long drive to Florida for a FX1 you couldnt get titled.

to add further: some don't know that jetski trailers are not titled in Fl just registr w/ VIN...just get a good bill of sale with vin # on it for trailer.....

correct. its actually a length limit law. anything over a certain length does have a title, but most of our ski trailers fit well below that length
