Ms. Mathews served ten years in Florida’s Department of Environmental Protection before launching her own business in 1995, leading legislative and government relations efforts for groups such as Personal Watercraft Industry Association, American Watercraft Association, Citizens For Florida’s Waterways and Florida Marine Contractors Association.

She is our contact in Florida for access issues. Feel free to call her if you hear anything about possible lake closures and removing beach access. She will fight for our right to be on the water. That's why everyone should be a member of the AWA, because without them we will get shut down eventually.

she is the one i think that helped us secure are own private riding spot. either way if it was not for the AWA we would have not got it done. they are worth every penny and then some.
