Flatwater roll questions

move to new port richey. it's back woods money and close to the water

thats the plan when I get out of the Air Force. I'd love to move back to the Clearwater area, but waterfront property is ridiculus.

i'm hoping to get into some cheap waterfront up near Crystal River. thats the only waterfront property that is remotely affordable. once they extend the Veterans Expressway all the way into Crystal River and tampa is only an hour and 15min away I think property will sky rocket up there. better get it while you can. wait who would want to live up there anyways. what am I talking about.:sneaky:

I have family on the water up there. it's not cheap and the waves suck because the ground is soft.

It is beautiful though.

put the pole on the hood, Hit the wave, crank the bars and give it gas. The ski will almost roll itself...........just hold on. Keep the nose up off the take off wake.

I think he left out....... throw yourself under the boat!
and body over the hood and spot your landing to bring the ski around.

also strangly enough, if you stare at the bars while landing inverted they will hit you in the face with or without helmet (I've been told :sneaky: ).

that has never happend on any ski I've ever ridden. I think you've over simplified it.... by a lot.

maybe..........but i have found those points to be the most benificial and important steps..........pole on the hood, crank the bars, give it gas

Simple is good. The more technical you think it is the more you psyc yourself out. If you do those 3 things it will get you around. The rest you can learn later. Just by putting the pole on the hood puts your body in a nice tucked position. Class dismissed :haha: Drink and Surge and Get to it!

I am also not using a take off wake.............I pull my trim a little to get the same effect as going off a wave and roll that way. I am not that high off the water but I rotate pretty fast
