Hi guys, I am very excited to build my first flat water light hull, I will build it in fiberglass and epoxy resin.(if all goes well, in the future I will go for the carbon project)I was reading everything I could find, but i appreciate the advice of those who have the experience to tell me how many layers and what type of fiberglass i need to use.
On this first model I guess I'll go seeing and learning from my mistakes and can be to correct with the time.

Thanks for help me with my proyect.
Rodry.

Good on you for deciding to do this. There is a a lot to learn, check out you tube and research like crazy. There is so many different ways and methods within the composite industry. Would suggest that you contact your local composite supplier and tell them what you are wanting to do, im sure they will be able to help you out.

Did you buy the stunt hull molds?

No, I'll make my own mold and design using one of my old sn hulls, cutting it back, in the middle and widening the down deck, the top deck is going to be a design that I have in mind for a long time.

I intend to make it as light as possible, then go to strengthen if necessary, I think it's good experience making this first one in fiberglass, but I do not want to ruin it so fast!!

My local composite supplier have no idea how much I need to use for my purpose.

Thanks in advance.

Glad to hear you want to go your own way and make a hull. However, there is already something out there called the "stunt hull" and it has a very negative reputation on the boards because of the manufacturer. So my very first recommendation is to change the title on this thread and any reference to a hull called the "stunt" to alleviate confusion and hateful remarks.
