time is the big part i started back in January so it took a while mainly worked on it after i got off work. glassing actually was really easy for the most part. i had my brother help me with some parts but neither of us were glass gurus. i did a good bit of looking at other peoples build before i started to get an idea how i wanted to do it. i had never seen anyone cut the hull extensions off but i figured it would be easy and let the pump stick out more. it was a fun learning experience. if you decide to do one an have any questions just pm me an ill help the best i can.

does it plain out well without the hull extensions on it ? i have a couple 550s i whant to do that to but it looked like it would have problems with the water coming over the sides wantiong to not let you clim up. also i use my sides as leverage when getting on. haver you tested it yet? was wondering if it would be better to leave a small lip.about 3 or 4 inches

Im his brother. It hasnt hit the water yet. He ended up buying a 550 motor that had bad compression. So he scrapped the 550 idea and step up to a small pin 750. Should be on the water in a week or two. Should rip for a JS.

its all finished i need to re do my foot straps because they ripped out. it runs great, flat deck is weird at first but it makes it way easier to carve because you have so muck extra leverage. planning on ridding this week or weekend so i will try and get a video of the ride.

Yeah Right.

Just kidding. I chopped up my flatdeck before Christmas to work out some kinks and still haven't gotten back to it. Once you get used to it, you'll never want ride a ski with tray sides again(although that's all I ride til I get mine back out again).

Good luck with it.
