Well, today was the day. After spending the last 3 months modifying the crap out of my ski I finally was able to take it out. Those mods work, they work well! On my old ski of the same year and model (92 650SX) it was all I could do to keep up with my buddy's Sea-Couch SPi which clocked at 44mph on the GPS. Today I passed him and slowly but surely kept pulling away. As with any stand-up rider with 5 years or more time away from standing up, I fell a plenty lol. But I may have found a new way to fall...if I can ever do it again lol. My ski fell on it's side and I kept going. I landed on my gut, had my arms spead eagle and supermaned it across the water for a good 25-30 feet lol. Next ride will hopefully have pics to follow, this was a spur of the moment ride because I just couldn't stand it any longer. The ski had finally fired up after sitting since August of last year, and didn't run propperly last year anyway to running like a top...it was time to get back in the swing of things. What's the best fall anyone here has done?
