Photo09091609.jpgso i just traded an 86 x2 for this mainly stock 650 sn with prop and perfectly turfed foot holds, im pretty stoked. i picked up a 96 stock raider 62t dual 38 and am poised the make the swap. should i try to swap the manual trim pump into the sn too or would it be more hastle than its worth? and cash is tight but i was thinking sending the cylinders out to group k to be big bored and ported. what do you guys think over all?

You will need a pipe to go with the cylinder mods as well as having the correct prop. Just getting a pipe and prop will do the most good power wise since the 62Tcyl already has better power potiential than a 61X.

Forget the suppers just use bilge pumps. Put the 62T in it with a pipe and you are good to go. A well tuned 62 T pulls hard.

If you are wanting to spend money get a tach from Randy at Watcon and tune that ski properly you will be surprised by the T motor.

Don't let your motor HP out weigh your skill level.

no i completely agree with you there, im gonna get as much time on it stock as i can, im not trying to be a total gaper on a flashy ski, you have to be able to ride it. i was thinking, from what ive read about the low end of the t motor that a lightened flywheel would help alot? are there any good threads about tuning the motor with a tack, do you mean to get the carbs dialed in after the pipe? im good with glass work but motors are a learn as i go thing. zero does a great job so i know im sending that out asap. im going to need an intake grate tho for sure and a f pipe. anyone looking to trade either for any of the raider parts? its complete ski everything works from what i can tell. pump for a pipe??? also have a 44mm sbn and a complete 6m6 motor with wet jet flame arrestor.

ok so it has taken me 80 posts and how ever many years to actually find how awsome the tech section is with the how-to's. why does non of this come up when you search for it on the site search, instead you always get all the digglers posts and nothing else useful, but this ski actually has a very intact nose peice and i would like to keep it that way. what can i do to make it stronger and not fall off while im riding to never be seen again? re-inforce from the back?
