Super Jet First superjet issue 96 rn

Just bought my first superjet and it was running awesome besides at very low speed it would start to make a popping noise like it was missing or something unless you blipped it a lot or kept it higher revs.

So I did some research here and found the factory pipe settings for the low speed screws and adjusted them to 1.25 turns out to try to resolve the issue.

I tried to take it out but it diesels like crazy now with the screws set at that and I'm scared I'm going to blow it up.

It is basically stock with factory bpipe and ada head 160 psi.

Can someone let me know if the dieseling is coming from an air leak or just turning the low speed screws in too far? They are at 1.25 out

dieseling is when you shut it off and its so hot that it continues to run, forwards or backwards. if you mean pinging, thats the fuel /air mixture exploding instead of burning properly. did you turn the screws in or out? turn them back to where they were and see if its better. turn them even farther and see if it stops or gets even better.

1.25 is fine
sounds like it wasnt re-jetted for the pipe
