FX-1 First Ride tomorrow.. Fingers Crossed

Well i am finally getn the fx out for the first time this summer. I did baby steps on my ski so i don't even have all my new mods installed.

Last year my ski screamed with

Today i installed the sizzler pipe, Pjs Ripturn, Stubby cone, and JD toploader. I wanna see if my motor will run my new pump mods b4 i install the rest.

10 hours til test. Finger crossed

B-pipes are nice, i have ridden a few in Sj's, to be honest i fell the Sizzler Pipe works great when dried out. Hit's really hard..


I worked hard last night to get on the water today, had a few issues..

1. Carb needed to be turned out a little on the low, but for a stock wetjet 44 it works great on my ski. I am going to drop the 46 on this week and hope it does as well.
2. Sizzler pipe came apart a few times. My fault since i was rushing last night and didn't get the clamps on tight enough, plus never put the lord mount in. LOL
3. Cooling on the pipe. I was drinking last night and dried almost the whole pipe out and the one line i ran went backwards. LMFAO.. Didn't hurt anything, but was hot.

Other then that she ran awesome for the first ride. I went for a Barrel off my own wake, missed the first ripple and still made some huge air and about 75% around.

I am hoping i am not loosing any LOW end because the 88mm nozzles and stubby cone with the Skat 16. My ski SCREAMS on top end as well and i don't care for it.

Should i put my skat 15 in or try and find a different prop?

Personally I think an 88 mm nozzle with a WW cone is WAY over kill. I'd put the stock tail cone back on.

If you are wanting "more" you have to make changes and try different things.

If i remember correctly the exit nozzle is like 88mm and the steering is a little bigger. Not to mention it longer so i get more throw over the OP i was running.

Felt Great!! Still have some tuning to do but i am uber-impresed w/ the FX1 buisness!!

Yes the left pic is me on a friend sj after i got water in my fx carb. Dried out the fx and rode strong again.

HUGE.... I have been riding with it for 2 years now, love the throw. Last year i ran with a OP nozzle setup (liked it) now i have a extended PJS ripturn Nozzle and LOVE IT
