Cant wait to hear the report, I am soo on the fence with that motor for mine.. I dont know which to pull the trigger on, I like the 718 but also wouldnt mine saving a bit longer for the 781. I have a couple cores that i can work with or have him build off of..I am anxious to hear how the 718 is in the FX1.
"Break her in' and Then Break your Neck!!"

Im very excited to see the turn out, other than the 44 degree water temp haha

I must peep The Maniac's Freestyle Motors at least 2x a week. I see some guys have had a 735 built... I am curious about that as well. I would love to have any one of the motors, but dont want buy the 718 knowing that i could have gone to the 781 after some patience..It will be the first engine i have bought from someone that i havent torn into and done myself. Thanks Jloria, I have to finish my pump first but thanks for stirring the indecsion pot AGIAN!!

Steve, Not hatin' on the 718 buddy, Much Love for that Motor. GoodLuck and can't wait for the report.

I concur...

that motor is going to rip...

I went from a 701 to a Paul Lehr 735 when I rebuilt my first ski...stock pump with a 9/15 hooker...

Honestly, at the time, it was too much motor for me b/c I was a newbie...

That 718 is going to rock and will be very reliable...which is worth it's weight in gold...

That ski will be jumping out of the water u'll see

Your report will have smiles in it:Banane01:

Rode and warmed up half way with the first tank of gas. Just putted around cause I want to fully break it in. I could feel the power was going to be great but had some electrical issues so I had to check into that. I wasn't getting full power at throttle speeds. New spark plug wires and coil are on their way from Jetmaniac.
