Some one has got to be pulling flat water backies on a limited setup with trim. I've pancaked my stocker on flatwater by accident a few times and I mean pancaked. Trying I can get as far as getting the nose to hit first. I'm 6'1" 230 there has to be some of you skinny dudes trying them.

first roll

My first roll was on a 550 back in 1998. I tried for about a year straight and finally got lucky once or twice. I got an SJ and was rolling every time in two weeks. Now as far as the backflip is concerned that's a completely different story. 1200cc WDK otta do ya. But I have pulled a backflip on a b piped 701 with no trim off of a V Wake before.

with all these short hulls and stuff coming out im sure it would make it more possible for a smaller cc to flipp a ton better

just wait for Highroller's hull

it should be awesome and able to flip poop
from what i hear

Dan and i are keeping our fingers crossed the boat he designed were hoping that a decent ported 701 setup pipe porting and head will be able to pull off a flatwater flip.this thing is extreamly short and lite.as soon as i get back from daytona we will be taking a trip to sc or whever it starts getting warm to do some testing with it

Sounds neat. Is this a whole new design, or a performance enhanced copy of a Kawi or Yamaha?

how do you know when you're ready to roll? I can stab no problem..but i've never tried to roll yet. I plan on doing it this summer off some small to medium rollers on lake michigan.

How is it different than a stab? I feel like if i try it i will just throw a big stab on accident or something. Whats the key to continued rotation?

you go for it!!! hehe thats what i did. My first roll was my best, just about plate to plate. i think i was scared and pulled soooooper hard, every other attempt i think i was too lazy haha. this summer i got it fo sho.

with the front end catching the better part of the wake and you tucking forward and to the side...there should be no prob with the nose going down...
nose down rolls In my opinion are done by those who have perfected the roll.

my first roll was on a limited setup this summer
