Same as slut, I could turn left better on a stand up than right earlier on. no diff on the blaster. Sounds like you need to learn to side mount. after you learn that getting up is a snap even for heavier people.

how do you side mount? i can do it in shallow water. but can you do it in deep water if so explain.

get on the left side of the blaster. lean the blaster on its left side. keep you body vertical in the water. turn the steering to the right and give it a little gas. slowly roll the blaster back to the right. as the pump starts to hook up keep your arms bent (you can pull your left arm out of socket if it goes straight) and give it more gas (keep steering to the right). you should be able to put your right knee or foot on the back deck as it starts to move. Pull yourself up from there.

I'd advise against shocking the drive line by reving full throttle before hooking up the pump. it's a good way to strip splines.

Depending on how much gas you give it you can get pulled up nice and smooth or get it to snatch you out of the water. either way works.

on another note dont try it if you are dog tired from swimming to your blaster from an aborted jump in the surf.... :)

my arms are usually too tired to have enough strength to pull myself up once it hooks...

i need to hit the gym, im getting weak
