first backflip attemp on my Stunt hull

i got a crappy cell video of my first back flip attempt (boat wave) on my highroller customs Stunt hull.. i got ski finished last fall, but only got to ride it a few times trying to work the bugs out, then weather got cold... i finally got the motivation to get it out and get it ready and actually ride it this summer, and its only mid august!!! been doing alot of wakeboarding and surfing this summer and no one around me rides anymore, no fun going by myself. the ski just sitting around all summer... had about a 1/2 hour secession fri night before sun went down. it was fun, way different to ride than my SJ. gonna have to get used to it.. but fun tho!

thanks!!! i was chasing electrical issues all day, and when i finally got it figured out i had a little bit of sun left... i flipped my sj before off double up waves and large cabin boats before, but that was my first try on the stunt hull, that was just a 20' ski boat's wave i was hitting. we got another guy with a ski boat to make me a double up right before dark, but the camera operator was more interested in watching me than looking at the screen to see what he was aiming at!!! i got all the way around twice, but NO PROOF! i wanna try some flatwater attempts, but i think im cavitating out of the hole?? hopfully i get some time to ride this week again, got a wedding this weekend... i was going 3/4 on flatwater rolls, but i suck at rolls, i never follow threw with my head, stare at my pole when im upside down and come untucked... need more seat time!

haha! i know right?! thats why i posted it even tho is not a good video or a complete flip. i search " stunt hull " on youtube everynow and then, and never saw any tricks.. hopfully i can get a lil better on it and it stays together! im not the best at fabricating and doing things "correct", lol, and i built most of this ski myself, so just waiting for things to start comming apart!

Does he have the video posted? I'd love to see it... I definatly wasn't trying to make any claims like I was the first to flip a stunt or anything,( only took me 2 years to actually finish and ride mine, I know people are way ahead of me with their ski's, I hate how lazy I am! ) I just know a bunch of these ski's exist out there and haven't seen much footage... I'd love to see some more video!!

Prolly not. We never video here. He's got a gopro but rarely wears it. No big deal though...was just saying. I wasn't trying to rain on ur flip. It was nice. Keep up the good riding. Waternuts the man to talk to on how to get the stunt hull to ride correct.

Fir sure! Iv been seeing all the work he's been doing on his!! CRAZY! That dude is a machine! It took me all summer to get the motivation to fix a broken run/stop switch, and clean some connections... My mans a jetski wrenching stud! I need to get some more time on the hull, and see what needs changed. It handles pretty good, but I couldnt ride it fast to save my life! When I would get some speed going I kept falling off the side.. I looked like I never rode a stand up before!
