I got my hand slapped this summer when the marine patrol officer didn't like it when I pulled a bottle of Gatorade out of my fire extinguisher canister compartment and drank it. Now I keep the Gatorade inside the fire extinguisher bottle, I learned my lesson. :shhh:

If you mount it in the engine compartment, do they make you pop the hood and pull it out?? It would be hard to do if there was any bump on the water.

i got stopped on my 550 once and they wanted to see my reg and fire extinguisher. i couldnt get the damn cover open to access the f/e . they had to help me, the thing hadnt been opened in 10 years. of course it didnt work and the paint had all come off it too. they werent very happy. i did get a free whistle from them:woot:

i just went and bought a $9 f/e at walmart for pismo this weekend just in case. i'll be the one with the f/e mounted to his helmet.
