Not sure of your question. One answer would be "it depends on how big/bad the fire is." Another is "for best weight savings get the smallest one you can find." The minimum USCG rating must be type BC-1 (2 lbs dry chemical is the smallest/lightest that meets this requirement). I would certainly suggest that you find one that fits inside the fire extinguisher holder. There are so many of them on the market that it's tough to suggest one particular model.
