SX/SXi/SXi Pro finally finished my ski!

Its finally finished after a long weekend. Motor is paid for, just waiting on shipping. Hopefully I'll take it out this weekend and start the grueling three tanks of break in. That will be the hardest part. I dont think I've ever been on it for 5 minutes without going over half throttle let alone 3 tanks...

When I clicked on the thread and the pics were loading I wasnt expecting to see that....Great attention to detail, pole looks real nice, turfing looks superior, and I can see the goods in the back ground.

no, my motor was running great so I sent it out to Zforce to have it ported, bored out to a 800cc and milled head, bored nozzle, and dual cooling outlets on head.

what goods do you speak of? The turfed chin pad was a bit much so i stuck with the apdesign one for now, might switch it out later.
Thanks for the nice comments though, my wife hates it, says its too much and looks gaudy. Thats ok she wont ride it:veryhappy:

Lets see under the hood.

I'll post up as soon as I get the motor back in it. It should look sweet, I fully polished the FP mod pipe. It looks killer sitting on a shelf.

I feel like a kid waiting for santa to get here, cant wait to get it all back together...

What is your break-in process going to be? Some people say one should occasionally put medium to high load on the motor without lugging or overheating to avoid cylinder glazing while breaking in. Also to avoid breaking in with synthetic oil. There are so many different info sources on this topic, it can get a bit overwhelming.

Im just going with Zforce's suggestion. He just said use good quality oil 32:1 and run it rich for three tanks. First tank nothing above 1/3 to 1/2 throttle. Second and third tank only short full throttle burst and leave the cooling system open on both outlets to keep it cool (I upgraded my cooling system a little)

Hey man that's a custom built valve. So what if it came from lowes and weighs about 10lbs. Lol at least it was only like 7 bucks. It just controls the second cooling line, I don't have one on the first line or stinger.

I have been talking to Tim about milling my 750sx head. The guy is pretty cool! I plan on porting the engine next year so im really curious as to how that ported motor runs. So your my test subject lol. I have read alot about Tim and i think i will go with him for the porting. I thought about having Harry at GroupK do the work but Tim is cheaper and has a great rep.
