"FINALLY DONE" -41lbs 2003 SXR 800 "wifes ski"

Not yet, but it is prepped and ready to spray. Working on footholds and buttoning up stuff under the tray at the moment. Work has been so hecktick, and the weather so cold, I have not had much time to do much of anything.

I just got the master mold sprayed with clear yesterday. So a little polishing and waxing and I will be ready to lay some glass on them. I need to get a set pulled asap so I can get this tray back together. LOL!!!

I finally mozied out to the shop to do some work. I figured I needed to get the aluminum flanges finished on my exhaust, and one way valve exits, so I could go ahead and get the tray glued back in. Since I cut the hull back I now had a pretty good angle to deal with. So I took the same aproach as on the SJ exhaust and made the same style flanges to hold both the tubes in place. I think they turned out pretty good.

I have not posted an update for a while so here is a few pictures of the carbs all finished and assembled, as well as a few pictures of the engine. I'm waiting on a head gasket from Watcon, then I can do my leak down test. and finish up the electronics, and button the front up.

DAG

Yes, my balls tickled from that landing
Location
Charlotte, NC
love how you did the foothold. not only does the toe go up to match how the foots profiled, but it also clears the exhaust pipe as well.

Thanks DAG, man they are so comfy, atleast setting on the trailer. I got them installed and finally turfed lastnight. Got the floor pattern cut out of foam tonight and layed in with some scrap turf just to try them out. I hope they fell this good on the water after a couple hours of ridding. LOL.

I finally took the time to take some photos. I'm kind of fast forwarding so to speak. So here are a few of the inside of the hull before and after.
